Section 508 is a federal law that requires agencies to provide individuals with disabilities equal access to electronic information and data, just as they do for individuals without disabilities, unless it would impose an undue burden on the agency. Section 504
Section 504 is a federal law that requires agencies to provide individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in their programs and activities, unless altering policies, practices, or procedures would fundamentally change the nature of the program, service, or activity, or create undue financial or administrative burdens on the agency.
